Hi there, I'm Ross Jordan. We used to live in New Egypt from 1958 - 1965. My dad, H. P. Jordan was in the Air Force at McGuire. We shopped at Blunt's, although we did not have much money but I think we bought a couch on payment plan. I remember going in and looking around. Judy Johnson was my class mate during those elementary school years while in New Egypt, and her parents, I think, were managers at Blunt's, possibly. Anyway, I have fond memories of that store, although I'm not sure if I ever met any of the Blunt family. Picture attached, I'm the second from the left on the front row...

My fondest memory about my Grandmother was her porch. My love for bubbles came from this women. We would sit outsdie on her porch and always blow bubbles and watch the birds. She would take me to work with her at North Hanover golf course and that is where my obession of playing waitress came from. She also had this bookshelf that I loved because she would have pictures of us or she would have creations we made for her. I miss taking walks with her little dog Max, Christmas day at her house, going on Englishtown adventures with her and Aunt Dolores, breakfast on Sunday mornings, the candy bowl always filled, sleepovers with her and Grandpa, trips to the library, and most of all her laugh. Every time we would leave her house she would always give me money and she would stay on the porch and wave goodbye until we backed out of the driveway. That image is stuck in my head and I wish I could get one more wave goodbye. She was a strong willed lady that I will miss dearly. I know she lived an amazing life and I can only hope that my boys will be my side like my Dad was by hers every step of the way. I love you Dad and she is proud of you and your strength. Rest in peace Grandma Rita ♥️
