Johnny D. Gilbert, age 41, of Wrightstown passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. Born in Willingboro, he was a lifetime area resident. Johnny was employed by Chris’ Auto Body in Lambertville, NJ. He exhibited extraordinary talent in the creation of breathtaking and extensive landscapes attracting the attention of many admirers. Johnny enjoyed going to car shows and spending time with his nephew Dominic who was the highlight of his life. His sense of adventure never ceased to amaze us. He was the loving grandson and dedicated care giver of his grandmother. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be forever missed by those who loved him and will be in their hearts forever. Johnny was predeceased by his loving and adoring father, Ronald T. Gilbert, his maternal grandfather, John Lenceski and by his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Marie Gilbert. He is survived by his mother Diana (Lenceski) Gilbert and fiancé Steve Affleck of Pennington; three brothers, Nick Gilbert, Ronald Gilbert, Jr. (Linda) and Duane Bruce (Trish); two sisters, Dee Dee (Gilbert) Brescia and Jeanne (Gilbert) Wozunk (Joe); his maternal grandmother, Jaqueline Lenceski of New Egypt and his nieces, Brittney, Kaitlin and Amanda Brescia and his nephew, Dominic Gilbert, along with several other extended family members and friends. Calling hours for Johnny will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 10 at 11:00 AM at the Jacobstown Cemetery on Schoolhouse Road in Jacobstown.
