Joyce Marie Staub, age 77, of Cream Ridge and formerly of Yardville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at home. She was born in Trenton NJ on May 16th, 1942. Joyce grew up in Lawrence Township and lived in Hamilton Township for 32 years before moving to Cream Ridge in 1997. Joyce attended St. Hedwigs School and Cathedral High School Class of 1960. She worked as a secretary for the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy Test Center, in Ewing Township for 4 years. She also worked as an aid at Sister Georgine’s Learning Center in Trenton for 7 years. Joyce was a member of St. Raphael’s Parish in Hamilton and Assumption Church in New Egypt, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and as a Rosary Altar Society Member. Joyce married Raymond W. Staub, Jr. in St. Hedwigs Church on November 13, 1965 and the couple had three sons. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was the kind of person who was loved by all who knew her.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Edmund and Rita Dombroski.
She is survived by her Husband of 54 years, Raymond W. Staub Jr. of Cream Ridge; three sons, Philip Staub of Riverview FL, Joseph Staub and his wife Diane Staub of Cream Ridge, Michael Staub and his Fiancé Kathleen Krukowski of Medford; three grandchildren, Morgan, Kylie, and Katelyn Staub; her twin sister Janice McNelis and her husband Bernard McNelis of Cream Ridge; and by her brother Thomas Dombroski and his wife Patricia Dombroski of Yardville.
