Margaret V. “Peggy” Bell, age 92, of Cream Ridge, passed away Monday, June 01, 2020 with her loved ones by her side. She was born in Trenton on March 11, 1928 to the late Carl and Mary (Stingel) Lischer. She was a longtime resident of Groveville before moving to Cream Ridge in 1997. Peggy graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1946. She married the love of her life Harold Bell in 1949. Peggy was retired from the State of NJ Department of Environmental of Protection. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Yardville, and was the past president of the St. Vincent de Paul Rosary Society and Bordentown Chapter of Deborah. She was also a member of Yardville and Groveville PTA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed.
Peggy is predeceased by her parents; her daughters, Maryann and Louise; her brother, Carl Lischer; and her three sisters, Betty Bodgol, Dorothy Daily and Eleanor Russell. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Harold Bell of Cream Ridge; her seven children, Fran Bell and wife Susan of Columbus, Patricia Brodian and husband Craig of Ellicott City, Maryland, Eileen Fusco and husband Donald of Lanoka Harbor, Mary Ellen Bell of Roebling, Joann Ashley of Hamilton Township, Jeffrey Bell and wife Crystal of Cherry Hill, and Michael Bell and wife Kelly of Annville, Pennsylvania; her fourteen grandchildren; her five great-grandchildren; and her sister Emily Mahur of Baltimore, Maryland.
Due to current restrictions, funeral services and burial in the North Crosswicks Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
