Brain M. Weiss, age 35, a lifelong resident of New Egypt, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at home. He was born in Willingboro, New Jersey on November 27, 1984. Brian grew up in New Egypt and was in the first graduating class of NEHS in 2003. Brian always had a positive outlook on life and a smile on his face. He loved his family immensely and would do anything for them. Brian loved his dogs Blondie and Bella like they were his children. He was loved by everyone he met and enjoyed trying to make people laugh. Brian was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Brian is predeceased by his father Melvin D. Weiss; his mother, Carolyn A. Johnson; his aunt, Diane Krause (Weiss); his uncle, Raymond C. Johnson, Jr.; and several other beloved family members and friends.
He leaves behind his grandmother, who raised him, Joan Weiss of New Egypt; his sister, Ericka Anders and her children Robert and Raelyn of Proctorville, Ohio; his fiancée, Kimberly Moore and her children Jacob, Kaleigh and Hayden of Flatwoods, Kentucky; his uncle, Joseph Krause and cousins Joe And Marisa of Lexington, South Carolina.
Services for Brian are being held at the convenience of the family and are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. The family requests that if anyone is struggling with depression or addiction please reach out for help. There is always a way out. The smallest step in the right direction could be a new lease on life.
