Dominick Frank Dianora, age 67, of New Egypt and formerly of Freehold, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Capital Health in Hopewell, New Jersey. He was born in Staten Island, New York, on September 11, 1952, to the late Michael and Rose Dianora. Growing up in Staten Island, Dominick became a lifelong New York Rangers Fan. He loved everything about the sport, even coaching his children and their friends for many years. Dominick worked for the New York City Transit Authority as a diesel bus mechanic where he developed his love for all old trucks and cars. His hobbies included boating, playing guitar, watching sports, and going for long leisurely drives. His greatest passion however was his six grandchildren. Dominick was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Dominick is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his three children, Michael Dianora and Colleen Sagan of Farmingdale, New Jersey, Chris and Kristin Dianora of New Hanover, New Jersey, and Andrea and Chris Ulikowski of New Egypt, New Jersey; his grandchildren, Aiden, Avary, Briella, Talia, Alexis and Luke; his sister, Lori and Michael Strivelli of Barnegat, New Jersey; and his niece Alyson and nephew Michael.
A Celebration of Life for Dominick will be held on his birthday, Friday, September 11, 2020 from 3-8pm at the New Egypt Elks Lodge, 105 Lakewood Rd, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Please join the family as Dom’s final wish was for everyone to be together. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, New Jersey.
