Clendon “Chuck” D. Pullen, age 56, of Wrightstown, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 28, 2020 at his home. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Clendon and Gertrude Pullen on July 10, 1964. Chuck graduated from Allentown High School and went to work driving dump trucks for Monmouth County. Upon graduating from the academy, he went to work as a Corrections Officer for the State of New Jersey. He spent most of his career at the Albert C. Wagner Youth Correctional Facility and briefly worked at the Mid-State Correctional Facility and Garden State Youth Correctional Facility. He took great pride in what he did until his retirement after 20 years of service. Among Chuck’s interests were motorcycles, quads, trucks, gardening, the Pittsburgh Steelers and his beloved pets Onyx, Chino, and Monkey. Chuck was a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed. Chuck is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his two daughters, Madison Pullen and Victoria Pullen both of Hamilton; his former wife, Barbara Benson of Hamilton; his two sisters, Mary Ann Pingitor and husband Larry of Wrightstown and Sharon Pullen of Freehold; his two nephews, Anthony Pingitor and wife Laura of Westampton and Matthew Pingitor and wife Kelly of Cinnaminson; and by his great-nephew and great-niece Mason and Makyna. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 1PM to 3PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Interment will be private.
