Edith L. Pullen, age 86, of Mount Laurel died Thursday, June 2 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Windsor, NJ, she was a resident of Lumberton and Browns Mills before moving to Mt. Laurel in 2006.
Edith was predeceased by her husband, Russell Pullen, Sr. and a son, Russell Pullen, Jr. She is survived by a son, Francis James Pullen of Newport News, VA; four daughters, Frances E. Nyhammer of Browns Mills, Stella Green of Mt. Laurel; Carol White and husband Edward of Shelton, CT and Diane Barrares of Augusta, GA; a sister, Sue Otavie and husband Jerry of Yardville; 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Edith will be held on Wednesday, June 8 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. George Seibold, officiating. Burial will follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to Noon at the funeral home.
