Alton ?Bucky? Reynolds, Jr., age 63, of New Egypt died Tuesday, July 12 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime New Egypt resident.
Bucky was a self-employed home contractor. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1965-1967 during the Vietnam War as a Sergeant. Bucky was a life member of the VFW in Yardville and then Cookstown. He was a skilled woodworker and was an avid fisherman.
Bucky was predeceased by his father, Alton Reynolds, Sr. and by a sister, Patricia Gignac. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lynda (nee Moscarello) Reynolds; his mother, Dorothy Reynolds of New Egypt; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sean and Tina Reynolds of Cookstown and Scott and Michelle Reynolds of New Egypt; a sister, Linda Davis of Point Pleasant; three grandchildren, Cydnie and Katie Reynolds and Ryan Reynolds and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Bucky will be held on Friday, July 15 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown. Please meet at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) at 10:00 AM to drive to the cemetery in procession.
Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bucky?s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
