Obituary of Norman W. Liedtka

Norman W. Liedtka, Jr., age 55, of New Egypt died Thursday, December 26 at Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills. Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime New Egypt area resident.
Norman was a 1976 graduate of Allentown High School and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 for 27 years. He enjoyed working around his farm and liked to watch his son race cars, but mostly he enjoyed being with his family.
Norman was predeceased by his father, Norman W. Liedtka, Sr. and by a sister, Norma L. Simmons. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Susan (nee Chamberlain) Liedtka; three children, Sandy Liedtka, Bill Liedtka and Karen Liedtka all of New Egypt; his mother, Sally Liedtka of Wrightstown; a sister, Brenda Liedtka of Wrightstown; three brothers-in-law, Hal and Richie Chamberlain of New Egypt and Rusty Chamberlain of Columbus and their families and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Norman will be held on Monday, December 30 at 8:30 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with calling hours on Monday evening from 5:00 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
