Lena J. Grigsby, age 88 of Browns Mills passed away Saturday, August 27 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice Center in Mt. Holly. Born in Buchannon, West Virginia to the late Virgil and Anna (Green) Wise, she was a longtime resident of Browns Mills. Lena had worked at the Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Browns Mills for 23 years before retiring. She was also a member of the Juliustown United Methodist Church. Lena was predeceased by her husband, William J. Grigsby; a daughter, Katherine Ann Grigsby-Bartz in January 2016 and two brothers, Clinton and Franklin Wise. She is survived by a son, Cecil S. Grigsby of Browns Mills; a sister, Frankie Holloway of Browns Mills and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Lena will be held on Wednesday, August 31 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.TilghmanFH. com). Calling hours will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, WV.
