Zachary T. Thompson, age 20, of Cream Ridge, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 in Hunter, NY. He was born at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ on July 12, 1996. Zach grew up in Plumsted Township and graduated from New Egypt High School in 2014. He continued his education at Rowan on Burlington Community College Campus. He received his Associates Degree in 2016. Zach was looking to enlist with the US Army National Guard in April and further his education in Marine Biology. He had big plans for himself and took pride in the accomplishments he had made. Zach worked as an Assistant Manager for Under Armour in Jackson. He loved his work, his New York Giants and animals. Zach was a good kid, even tempered and loved by so many. Zach is predeceased by his two grandfathers, Joseph Zaccagnino and James Thompson. He is survived by his parents, Todd Thompson of Freehold NJ and Teresa Thompson of Cream Ridge NJ; his brother Lucas Thompson; maternal grandmother Louise Zaccagnino; paternal grandparents Aubrey and Mort Solitare; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533, and again on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:00AM to 9:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00AM on Saturday at the Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road, Wrightstown NJ 08562. Interment will be private.
