Obituary of Angela Miller Stengel

Angela “Angie” Miller Stengel, age 50, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. She was born at Walson Army Hospital at Fort Dix to Linda (Goff) Miller and the late Glenn Miller. Angie was a lifelong resident of Plumsted Township. She was an easy to love person, always full of energy and had her arms wide open to anyone in need. She was the “rock” for many and always there to help a friend in need. Angie was a very skilled artist of many mediums, painting everything from fishing poles to canvas as well as digital design and photography. She was very creative, enjoyed going to the Renaissance Festival, loved cooking and had a passion for life and nature. Angie recently graduated from Ocean County Community College with her Associates Degree in Graphic Arts. She also worked as an administrative assistant for Van Cleef Engineering in Hamilton. Angie enjoyed traveling and visiting New England with her family. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.

Angie leaves behind her adored husband Jeffrey Stengel of Cream Ridge; her mother Linda (Goff) Miller and step-father Pablo Ortiz-Carrasco; her sister Janna Stengel;  her step-mother Marie Miller; step-sister Suegheily Ortiz; step-brothers Kyle Priest, Jason Priest and Randy Priest; her father-in-law Charles “Buzz” Stengel III ; sister-in-law Joy Stengel; brother-in-law Jason Stengel; aunts and uncles, Carol Goff, Jean Oelschlager, Delores Tomes, Sandra and husband Gary Hoch, Orville Goff and fiancé Carol Patterson, Robert Miller and  Charles and wife  Barbara Miller; along with many cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 6PM to 9PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533 and again on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 10AM to 11AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, beginning at 11AM. Interment will follow at the Ellisdale Cemetery. The family would like to request that donations be made in Angie’s memory instead of sending flowers to help find a cure for the disease that has so many unknowns.
