Obituary of Joan Fitzpatrick Rosenberg

Joan Fitzpatrick Rosenberg, age 86, of Cream Ridge, passed away on May 5, 2017 at home. She was born in Scranton PA to the late Edward and Loretta Fitzpatrick. Joan graduated from St. Mary’s High School and St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Scranton. She was formerly employed as a Registered Nurse in the ER at Princeton Hospital. Joan retired after 26 years from Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton.

Joan is predeceased by her parents; her husband James Rosenberg, Sr.; brother Edward Fitzpatrick; sister Shirley Nykaza; son-in-law Richard Greene and daughter-in-law Barbara Rosenberg. She leaves behind her 5 children, James Rosenberg, Jr. of Tabernacle, Ellen Greene of Port St. Lucie FL, Eileen Hutchinson of Yardville, Janice Snyder of Apex NC and Laura Cancio (Jose) of Hobe Sound FL; 10 grandchildren, Kyle and wife Gina, Alex, Eric, Scott, Noah, Adam, James, Everett, Madalyn and Natalie; and 1 great-grandchild Alex Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 9-9:45AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home; located at 52 Main St., New Egypt NJ 08533 (TilghmanFH.com). A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10AM at the Church of the Assumption on Monmouth Road. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
