Susan E. Havens, age 53, of Jacobstown died Monday, July 30 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Trenton, she had been a resident of Jacobstown for the past 34 years. Susan was employed as an Inspector with CCL Label in Hightstown. Daughter of the late Charles and Cora Parks and sister of the late Charles Parks, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Havens; two sons, Jeremy J. Havens of Jacobstown and Brian Havens and wife Sandra of New Egypt; a daughter, Tina McLaughlin and husband Theodore of Virginia; a brother, Don Parks and wife Barbara of Delaware; five sisters, Debbie Renner and husband William of Browns Mills, Cynthia Emery and husband Thomas of New Egypt, Kathy Callahan and husband Chester of Spencer, NY, Nancy Ennis of Springfield, MA and Shirley Gunn of Houston, TX and four grandchildren, TJ McLaughlin, Taylor McLaughlin, Sarah Havens and Samantha Havens. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will held of Saturday, August 11 at 1:00 PM at the Jacobstown Cemetery on Schoolhouse Road in Jacobstown.
