My deepest condolences for the family. I was fortunate enough to meet you at the birth of my first child and again at a family get together in Virginia. I have never met such a sweet, caring, and kind man. Meeting your sons was a true testimony of the man you were by raising great children in your shadows. I know without a doubt you were proud. You will be missed greatly.

To my wonderful, kind, caring and loving Daddy aka Pop. Daddy throughout my life time you were always there for me. No matter what time of day or hour, or how bad or good you felt you always took my calls. You took me into your arms as your own at 3 months of age. From that point on you became my Daddy and the only Daddy I ever knew! You looked over me, protected me, guided me and hopefully stood back and was proud of me for the man, father, and grandfather that I had become. I will especially miss our truck talks! I will also miss you not being able to interact with my kids and grandkids. Daddy, I could go on and on, but mainly I want you and everyone to know that I was extremely proud to be known by all as your Son. I know you're at peace and not hurting any longer, but just know all you're loved ones are hurting badly and we will always love and miss you! Rest in Peace Pop. Your loving son, Philip

Heaven gained one wonderful man. We know you fought as hard as you could. You had so much life and so much love to give. You certrainly earned those beautiful Golden Wings. You won't ever be forgotten. We will always hold you dear and love you Poppy. I miss you. I always will. I hate how this all happened. You will always be in my heart. All of my memories I shared with you. I'll always love you. So thankful I was able to talk to you so much the beginning of the month before you became too ill. I'll always hold that dear to my heart. February 27th 2018, this day is shared with loosing you and trying to celebrate my daughter's 3rd birthday. A life that has just begun and a life now ended on this Earth. February 27th. Poppy you will always be loved and missed. We will never forget you. Your kindness, your support, your care and everything about you that made you such a amazing man. As a Grandaughter I thank you for all the talks we had, all the time we did share. The memories we shared from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Viginia will always be held close to my heart. As Gram said we hurt for you on this Earth, however you are no longer in pain. We hurt, you no longer do. You are free to fly and spread your wings. We love you so much!!!! Love Always and Forever- Katie Lady.
