Kevin, I was so sorry to learn of the recent passing of your sister Kimberly. Losing a loved one is never easy, but losing a sibling is particularly difficult. Kimber, I am so grateful to have been your sister-in-law and even more grateful to be your sister in Christ. Although the light is shining a little dimmer here on Earth, it is now shining much brighter in Heaven. No goodbyes are necessary because we will meet again. Dear Kim, my Sister, My heart grieves at our loss. You brought such pride to our family. I am so proud of you and what you have accomplished through God’s grace. You needed so little but gave so much. I will keep the tanks clean and your fish happy. Your garden gnomes will keep my yard safe. Your Christmas poinsettia will bloom yearly in your honor. Your horses will grace the walls of my house. Your Army Teddy will give me strength and purpose. The sound of your laughter will fill my heart with joy and encouragement. How I will miss hearing ‘my brother’ from your voice. I will miss you every day my Sister, there was so much for us to catch up on. Forgive me for not making us and our time together a greater priority. God alone knows His plan for us each, and for those that know Him, His plan is good. I am thankful for our prayers together and that you knew Him, and you rest comfortably and lovingly in the grace of His hands. Tell Mom I miss her, and I honor her with my prayers. I see both of your smiling faces and I am encouraged in this life. When my day is likewise done, and The Lord’s work is complete in me, He will call me home to be with you and her, and all of our family, and we will be together again. I look forward to hearing ‘My brother’ from you, greet me in heaven with those fine words and see me smile. I love you my Sister. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which The Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day. Not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 God says fear not, for I am with you. Be not disappointed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 42:10
