We loved Nate like a son, because he was going to be our son. He loved our daughter Kim with all his heart...that was obvious to us. He treated her like a princess and they were the perfect couple, each bringing out the best in the other. We knew him to be a passionate man who loved cooking for us, something he was so good at. He spent the last Christmas holiday with our family and they all loved him, so happy that Kim had found her soul-mate. Terry and Nate were like two peas in a pod, they affectionately called each other Muffin and Pumpkin. Nate was a beautiful soul, kind, loving, intelligent, funny, hard-working, respectful and honorable. He was a good person, a good friend, and a good son.
There is a hole in our hearts that belongs to Nate. Apparently God needed him sooner than later. We will never forget him or the impact he had on our lives.
