Obituary of Randy J. Senecal

Randy J. Senecal, age 63, of Browns Mills and formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY and New Egypt, NJ passed away Saturday, May 26 at Aspen Hills Healthcare in Pemberton Twp. He was born on January 31, 1955, to the late Joseph and Meadora Senecal and grew up in New Egypt. Randy was a track star at Allentown High School and holds the school record for the 1 mile. He graduated from Allentown High School in 1974. A few years later, in 1980, Randy enlisted in the US Air Force as a Security Specialist and was a recipient of the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. In his free time, Randy enjoyed shooting pool and playing darts. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter but had a love for all animals, especially his cat Brownie.  He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and uncle who will be deeply missed.

Randy is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Rock Marcel Senecal and Meadora Senecal (nee Wayman); and his brother Gary Senecal.

He leaves behind his two children, Paul Senecal and his wife Jinay of Poughkeepsie NY and Nicole Senecal also of Poughkeepsie NY; his three sisters, Sandi Grady of Browns Mills NJ, Gail Di Bartolo and her husband Angelo of Smyrna DE; and Joanne Smith and her husband Jeff of Bordentown NJ; his five grandchildren, Hannah Senecal, Emily Senecal, Adrianna Babcock, Lilyanna Babcock, and Hunter Joseph Senecal; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533. A funeral service will begin at 1 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Randy's memory to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
