Obituary of Emily A. Wiberg
Emily A. Wiberg, age 83, of Whiting passed away Friday, July 27 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Upper Freehold Township to the late Albert and Mary (Hurley) Housekeeper. Emily was a longtime resident of Levittown, PA before moving to Whiting in 2004.
Emily enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions and estate sales. She loved the beach, traveling and working outside growing her garden and flowers. She was someone who would always help anyone in need. Emily’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending any holidays with her family especially Christmas.
Emily was predeceased by a son, Byron Wiberg; two sisters, Gertrude Allen and Mabel Notarangelo; a brother, George Housekeeper and her former husband, Byron Wiberg. She is survived by a son, David Wiberg and wife Grace of Largo, FL; two daughters, Emily Atlas and husband Mike of Victor, Montana and Theresa Chicoski of Newtown, PA; a brother, Ronald Housekeeper and wife Judy of Georgia; two sisters, Bertha Stanziale of Hightstown and Mildred Allen of Saratoga Springs, NY; her grandchildren, David Wiberg, Jr., Daniel Wiberg and wife Sun Me, Michelle Fite and husband Tom, Jennifer Adam, Luke Adam and wife Dustyn, Jessica Adam, Jacob Chicoski and wife Crystal, Joseph Chicoski and Rebecca Chicoski; her great grandchildren, Tristan Redearth, Kayla, Dominic and Ava Harsh, Jacey, Jared and Christopher Chicoski and Cole, Sage, Luke and Wade Adam and many nieces and nephews including Bill and Shelia Allen of New Egypt who were very special to her.
Funeral services for Emily will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 1:30 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.TilghmanFH.com), with entombment to follow at the Odd Fellows Mausoleum in Burlington Township. Calling hours will be on Monday evening, July 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
