Obituary of Delynne F. Bennett

Delynne F. Bennett, age 50, of Wrightstown passed away Thursday, May 16 at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills.  Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime area resident.

Delynne worked at Dave’s Famous Subs in Cookstown.  She liked cooking and caring for her pets, but most of all she enjoyed being with her sons.

Delynne was predeceased by her step-mother, Esther Bennett.  She is survived by her three sons, Christopher Billings of New Egypt, Richard Potts IV of Newport News, VA and Cody Potts of Browns Mills; her father, Ward Bennett, Jr. of Browns Mills; her mother, Iva Mae Plaganis of Clearwater, FL; a sister, Michelle Dickerson of Howell; five brothers, Ward Bennett III of Browns Mills, Edward Dunne of Browns Mill, Duane Bennett of Browns Mills, Dean Bennett and wife Lisa of Spring Hill, FL and Christopher Plaganis of Clearwater, FL, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A memorial gathering for Delynne will be held on Monday, May 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.TilghmanFH.com).

In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates generosity for expenses and contributions to children’s hospital of Philadelphia and the humane society.
