Caroline Hicks, age 79, of Mount Holly died Saturday, January 19 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was a longtime resident of Hightstown before moving to Mount Holly two years ago. Caroline attended the Capital Assembly of God in Hamilton. Daughter of the late Henry and Lottie Stanley and wife of the late Leonard Hicks; she is survived by a son: Leonard Hicks and wife Christina of Hightstown; a daughter, Carrie Adams and husband Bob of Mount Holly; a brother, Arthur Lock of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Felicia, Kyle and Lenny Hicks and Caroline, Elizabeth, Fallon and Bobby Adams and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24 at 10:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Interment will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Totowa, NJ. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, January 22 and Wednesday, January 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
