The brother I knew and loved was lost a long time ago. I grieved the loss of him. I grew to love my injured brother as his new self. It was easy to love him. Rich was so vulnerable. He was now within a system that often failed him and needed a push to do the right thing. Since his injury the hardest part has been when him and I had those moments when he was Rich before the injury. I grieve a second time for you Rich. There are so many wonderful memories of you I cannot choose one to share. Just have so much love for you Richie Rich.

I met Rich in 2018. I traveled Mass. with Darlene to see him. We had a great time. We played cards and he kept telling Darlene not to cheat! Lol He had talked to me even though this was the first time I meet him. It was a very pleasant visit. Rest in Peace Rich. May the butterflies take your spirit and fly and fly!

My heart is with each of you, the family in the loss of dear Richie . Our hearts broke years ago when his life was altered after the altercation . He was robbed of the life he was just embracing. I know that he was welcomed by God in heaven and by his dear precious beautiful loving Mom, who he missed terribly since he was 14 . And also by his Dad and dear sister Robin. It is comforting to know that he is with her , his wonderful loving Dad and his dear precious sister Robin. May our dear loving Lord wrap him in his loving arms and wrap each of you with love , comfort , strength and peace .
