Marie E. Janick, age 76, Cream Ridge area resident, formerly of Somerville, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. She was born May 13, 1945 to the late George and Marion Theresa (Kelly) Parham. Marie was born and raised in Forest Hillls NY, and moved to Somerville NJ in 1967. She remained in New Jersey where she raised her family. Marie worked as a scheduling coordinator for Visiting Nurses of Northern New Jersey. She was a member of Zarapath Church located in Somerset, NJ. Marie enjoyed volunteering at her church’s health clinic. She was a very charitable person, always giving back and donating. Marie liked to cook, bake, dance, watch Judge Judy, and go bowling, but most importantly she loved her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Marie’s sense of humor paled in comparison only to fierce mama bear nature for her children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend that will be deeply missed. Marie is predeceased by her parents, George and Marion Theresa Parham; her brother, Alfred Parham and her ex husband Wayne Janick with whom she maintained a close bond. She leaves behind her four children, Jennifer Morrison and husband Joseph of Flemington, NJ, Justina Friedman and husband Keith of Cream Ridge, NJ, Wayne Janick and wife Ana of Davidson, NC, and Matthew Janick of Burlington, NJ; her grandchildren, Caylin, Ryan, Maggie, Brendan, Lily, Fabianna, Sebastian and Emily; and her great-grandchild, Sage; and numerous first cousins who she loved dearly.
