Please share a memory of Marie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marie T. Voli passed away peacefully on Sept 16, 2021.
She was born on June 6, 1928 to Mary (Villante) and Nunzio Addia.
Marie married the love of her life Frank R Voli in 1948. They lived together in Jersey City, NJ, later moving to Lyndhurst and then Middletown where they raised their family. Marie was an incredible Mom to her five children; Elaine (Scott) Restiano of Sunset Beach NC; Marie (Lou, predeceased) Martinelli of Middletown, NJ; Frank D. (Patricia) Voli of Wilmington, NC;
Ron (Annie) Voli of Midlothian , VA and Nancy (Joseph) Siberry of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
Marie is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2006.
Marie and Frank moved to Pheasant Run in Barnegat, NJ in 1988 where they spent many happy retirement years. Later in life Marie relocated to The Atrium in Red Bank, NJ and recently to New Haven in Little River, SC.
Marie was a successful real estate agent and actively sold homes until the age of 80; working for Berg, Schlott and Coldwell Banker.
She was a fun loving woman. She loved to dance especially with Frank and they could certainly “cut a rug" when they jitterbugged.
Marie’s home was always the one filled with family and friends enjoying a cup of coffee, a simple meal or a grand holiday feast.
She touched many people’s lives and passed on her appreciation and love of family to all her children. She lived life simply and beautifully and didn’t let life get in the way of living.
She would often encourage (or discourage) us with her trademark
“who cares" as we faced our little day to day problems and worries.
Marie lived a good, long and happy life. She will be remembered with a smile by all who knew her.
We all love her dearly and we’re so very blessed to have her for a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A viewing for Marie will be held on Friday September 24 from 10:30 to 12:30 at Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt, NJ with a funeral service at 12:30 pm. Her final resting place with be with her husband Frank at Brigadier General William C Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.
The family would appreciate that any remembrances for Marie be made in the form of a donation to the charity or cause of your choice.
