I met Rosa over 48 years ago in Athens, TN where she was attending Tennessee Wesleyan College (now Tennessee Wesleyan University) from where I had just graduated. She was a member of Phi Mu Sorority as I had been. We became good friends. When she came back to Athens for her college graduation Rosa, Mac, her mom and 3 of her high school friends stayed with me in my little 1st house. Before she got married I gave her a kitchen shower titled “Rosa, this is your childhood”. I attended her wedding along with several other of her college friends. I visited Rosa and Mac at almost every location where they were stationed. I watched her children grow up. Rosa and her children were in my wedding. Even Alyssa as Rosa was pregnant with her at the time of the wedding. I shared many 4th of July’s with Rosa and her family. I will miss her more than I can say. Sending prayers of comfort to her family. I know she will be missed by all.
