Happy Heavenly Birthday! We miss you! Wally, I know you are no longer with us, here on this earth, but you will always be in our hearts. I am sure that you easily sailed right through Heaven's gate. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to call you my friend. You were definitely one of a kind. Whenever someone needed you, you were right there with open arms to help. No matter who it was, if you knew someone needed help, you were ready and willing to do whatever you could, because that was the kind of man you were. You had many wonderful qualities. For example, one that I always noticed, time and again, is that when someone helped you with anything,, you always made sure you "paid" that person back tenfold. You did that, not because you felt you owed them anything, but because you genuinely appreciated when anyone helped you in type of way. You wanted to always give back more than you received and that's what made you such a treasure. You were that way with everyone and everything in your life. You had a pride like no other. You worked hard to make sure that your family was taken care of. You did the same for others who knew you, as well. You weren't just a blessing in my life, but a blessing to all that knew you. Thank you for your service to our country and most of all thank you for your friendship with me. I will forever miss my "Daily dose of Wally". God bless you and keep you, until we meet again. Dad, this candle is for you. (It's the closest to yellow that I could find, knowing that yellow's your favorite color). Thank you for being our dad. Thank you for taking such good care of us. I know you are happy because you are now reunited with the love of your life, your wife (our mom). Until we are all reunited again as a family, please know we love & miss you & mom so much.
