Barbara J. (nee Haberin) Zustovich, age 64, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2022 in Robbinsville surrounded by friends. She was born in Somerville, NJ to the late Carl and Carmella (nee Lorzito) Haberin. Barbara was the first baby girl born on New Year’s in 1958. Barbara graduated Bridgewater-Raritan West High School class of 1975. She worked for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic for many years. Barbara was employed with the Princeton Board of Education as a school bus aide. Barbara was a life member of Hightstown Fire Ladies Auxiliary, where she held the offices trustee and corresponding secretary.She was also a life member with the Ladies Auxiliary Mercer County Fireman Association, along with being a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fireman of the State of New Jersey. Barbara was also a Gold Star Mother. She supported many military organizations. Barbara loved to give to others and had such a big heart. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Carl and Carmella Haberin; her son, Christopher C. DeRemer; and her daughter, Jennifer L. DeRemer. Services for Barbara are pending. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Barbara’s name to either the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org/donate) or the Wounded Warrior Project (https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/). All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home, located in New Egypt, NJ.
