Jeanne C. (nee Atkins) Muehleisen, age 66, of New Egypt died Tuesday, February 26 at her home. Born and raised in Trenton, she was a resident of New Egypt for the past 35 years. Jeanne was formerly employed as a clerk for the State of New Jersey, she had been a teller for the Bank of Mid-Jersey and worked in the bakery department of the New Egypt IGA. Sister of the late James ?Roy? Atkins; Jeanne is survived by her husband, William ?Bill? Muehleisen, Jr.; her children, Pamela Sullivan and husband Jeffrey of New Egypt, Glenn Muehleisen of Trenton, Missy Muehleisen of New Lisbon, Jackie Lemesevski and husband Joe of Bordentown and her step-son, Bill Muehleisen III and wife Colleen of Tuckerton; her grandchildren, Andrew and Allison Sickles, Michael Sullivan and Robert and Holden Muehleisen; a brother, Nelson Atkins of Trenton; a sister-in-law, Cathy Kocubinski and husband John of North Hanover Twp.; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ruth and Bill Muehleisen, Sr. of Yardville; her best friend and neighbor, Gail Miller of New Egypt, her good friend, Carl Matthews of New Egypt and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Carl Matthews, officiating. Burial will follow in the Frenchtown Cemetery in Frenchtown, NJ. Calling hours will be on Friday evening, February 29 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
