Robert J. Lombardo, age 63, resident of Browns Mills, NJ, formerly of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at home. He was born in Newark, NJ on June 1, 1958 to the late John and Lillie (nee Margues) Lombardo. Robert was a deacon at Summerlin Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas. He worked as a Lieutenant with New Jersey Department of Corrections for 25 years. Robert was a wonderful husband. He was a friend to everyone, and was always willing to help people he didn’t know. Robert always donated food and clothing to the homeless. He enjoyed learning about everything, he was very creative, and he had a great sense of humor. Robert loved planting his garden every year. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend that will be deeply missed. Robert is predeceased by his parents, John and Lillie Lombardo; and a sister. He leaves behind his wife of 17 years, Janet Lombardo of Browns Mills; his four daughters, Valerie Lombardo, Rachel Pieters of Bordentown, Veronica Battreall and husband Brandon of Wrightstown, and Julie Barber and husband Andy of Arizona; and his five grandchildren, Kenny, Maggie, Ariana, Courtney, and Scarlett. Funeral Services for Robert are being held privately at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
