We were deeply sadden to hear of "Big" Frank's passing. I met Frank over 30 yrs ago. He was like a second Dad to me. Always had an open door, great conversation and always offered "A little taste" You may be gone, but we have a lot of memories so make sure you are not forgotten.

My condolences to the entire Ondrushek family. I only met Mr. Ondrushek a couple of times but he made a big impression on me with his inherent kindness, especially the first time we met. I had fallen off my bicycle on West Millstream Road (back when I was just a kid) and had gotten fairly badly hurt. There were no cell phones back then, so I had no way of telling my parents where I was or that I maybe needed stitches. A total stranger came rolling up in his green truck and asked if he could give me a lift. He loaded me and my busted up bike into his truck and delivered me safely to my parents. That stranger was Mr. Ondrushek. My parents and I are forever grateful for his kindness! The world is a sadder place without Mr. Ondrushek in it. Lots of love to everyone in the family.

Frank, or Mr. O as I called him, was an influential person to me in my mid-late teens. I couldn’t ask for a better role model during a formative time in my life. He allowed me to learn to mix mud and work for him as a laborer with Chip during some of his side jobs. The pay was certainly fair but the lessons learned about what it took to be a man and a great father were invaluable to me. He always welcomed us knuckleheads into his home and accepted us as family. For that I am forever grateful. Rest easy Mr. O.

If the Fin Fur Feather had a Hall Of Fame, Frank would certainly be in it. I met Frank over 40 years ago, when I was a teenager. I'm 59 now and Frank still called me "kid". I feel very fortunate to have known Frank for so long, I will miss him very much. From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli................. Rest in Peace Hero

When Frank became a life member of Fin Fur Feather Club I filled his spot as a new member. Frank always encouraged me and other members to do our best for the good of the club. Frank was a great member and good friend to all. He will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Frank Was a good friend and a fellow parishioner at St. Isidore's parish. My husband Paul would meet with him at the local high school's soccer game where his grandson played. Frank and Paul loved soccer, both having played in their younger years. We went out to dinner with frank and Fran and always enjoyed each other's company. He will be sorely missed and wish God's blessing and support on Fran and the whole family. May his soul rest in peace.
