Jean A. Sayles, age 87, of Lawrenceville, formerly of Trenton, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at home. She was born on July 28, 1935 in New Egypt to William and Mary (nee Bettino) Blanda. Jean liked doing her word searches. She enjoyed watching Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, Cooking Shows, and Deal or No Deal. Jean loved everyone and everyone loved her. She had a big heart, and always wanted to give to others. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed. Jean is predeceased by her beloved husband, Lawrence E. Sayles; her parents William and Mary Blanda; her siblings, Joseph Blanda, John Blanda, and MaryAnn Enriquez. She leaves behind her daughter, Debbie Alvarez; her two granddaughters, Desirae Miller and husband Timothy, and Taila Alvarez; her five great-grandchildren, Jassan, Jaxson, Yareli, Beau, and Nevaeh; her siblings, Rose Marshall, Tony Blanda and wife Doris, and William Blanda and wife Gale; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Jean will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with interment to follow at BGWCD Veteran Memorial Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
