Michael A. “Mike” Berwick, age 65, longtime resident of Browns Mills, formerly of Freehold, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, August 23, 2024. He was born on August 4, 1959 in Jersey City, NJ to Albert and Jean Berwick. Mike worked as an administrative assistant for the NJ Department of Labor for 38 years, and the YMCA in Freehold for 25 years. He loved to travel and take his family on trips especially to Florida and Wildwood. Mike liked to throw family parties, and go shopping. He enjoyed watching his favorite SOAP, “Days of our Lives.” Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend that will be deeply missed. Mike is predeceased by his daughter, Brenda Nicole Berwick; his parents, Albert and Jean (nee Pendzich) Berwick; and two siblings, Albert Berwick, Jr., and Ann Berwick. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Debbie (nee Raber) Berwick; his two children, Adam Berwick and wife Kate, Melissa Dilbeck and husband Jesse; five grandchildren, Emma, Ella, Colton, Olivia, and Rhys; two sisters, Janice Renna, and Barbara Obuchowicz; his mother-in-law, Barbara Archer; many nieces and nephews; and several other extended family members. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ.
