Dino was absolutely the guy if you needed anything, if he had it to offer and you needed it, it was yours.
Dino would always greet with a smile and genuine questions and concern for you and yours.
My fondest memory with Dino was created 35 years ago driving a cargo van from Manasquan to Louisville Kentucky in a 24 hour round trip. A lot of talk of family and friends and Dino's desire to get back home to spend the upcoming 4th of July holiday with his young family. A lot of good memories created during that trip that we would reminisce and laugh about often in the 35 years that followed.
My deepest sympathies to family and all those who had the opportunity to know you.
"Rest Well Babe"

Dino was one of a kind, and kind he was, no matter how hard the task, Dino had a smile on his face. Our having Dino at Hatteras for as long as we did was a true blessing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who knew him. He will be missed by all at Hatteras. I remember when he started, just a little before the holidays, he came to my house at night in his trench coat and cowboy hat. Rang the doorbell, I looked out the peephole and had no idea who it was. I opened the door and Dino in his special language told me he had sausage for me and handed me a huge bag of it, which needless to say did not last very long. Every holiday after that for years he gave us sausage. I never really told him, but Dino rest assured that every year I looked forward to that sausage. Will miss you dearly my hard-working friend, God bless!

My sincere heartfelt condolences to the Castronova Family. Dino was "one of a kind" and always brought a smile to the people around him. Working with him for the past 22 years and knowing him for 30 years, Dino would literarily give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. Dino working side by side everyday unloading trucks and stacking the endless amounts of skids coming through the door on the daily basis blasting our music were hard work times, but also a great team effort with us! Bowling leagues and tournaments (winning multiple YMCA events with Hatteras!!!! ) were some really great times that will never be forgotten! You being the E.R. during my Elks Inauguration was also a very cool moment I will never forget. You most certainly will be missed my Brother, you were such a great person and it was a pleasure being your Friend! Love you Dino, you will be so missed by MANY!
