Mary A. Inman, age 88, lifelong resident of New Egypt, passed away peacefully among her family and friends on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. She was born on May 14, 1936 in Kenilworth, New Jersey to the late John and Mary Lenart. Mary sold Queensway Clothes, and owned her own beauty salon. She was a member of New Egypt Presbyterian Church. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, gardening, and sitting on her front porch. She liked taking trips to Lancaster, and spending time with her family. Mary was an animal lover, especially her cat Mani. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed.
Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Z. Inman, Sr.; her parents, John and Mary (nee Anderson) Lenart;her three siblings, John Lenart, Anne Cranmer, and Michael Lenart; and her half brother, Andrew Lenart She leaves behind her three children, Robert Z. Inman, Jr. and wife April of New Egypt, April Miller and husband Ronnie of North Hanover, and Teresa Denti and husband Ron of New Egypt; four grandchildren, Jenna Miller, R.J. Miller, Amanda Inman, and Robert Z. Inman, III and wife Suky; two great-grandchildren, Ashlinn and Finnegan; and two sister-in-laws, Janet Lenart of New Egypt and Anita Lenart of Georgia.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Mary on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 12 Noon at Cream Ridge Cemetery located on Burlington Path Road, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary’s name to New Egypt Fire Company https://www.newegyptfire.com/donate.php or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org/donate/. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt.
