William E. Layton, age 71, of Howell died Friday, February 13 at home. Born in Brandonville, PA, he was a resident of Howell for the past 13 years and Hightstown for 3 years before then. Bill was the owner of Bill?s Fork Lift Service. He was a veteran of the Army and a member of the American Legion Post No. 1000 in Trenton. Bill is survived by his wife, Cathy Layton; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Karen Layton of Jackson; a daughter, Andrea Layton of Jackson; two grandchildren, William and Amanda Layton of Jackson and four brothers and a sister, Francis Layton, Bobby Neiswinder, Joe Neiswinder, William M. Layton and Ruthie Smullingan all of Pennsylvania.
