Edward T. Lambes, Sr., age 44, of Burlington died Monday, October 12 in Mt. Laurel. Born in Tecumseh, MI and raised in Ohio, Ed was an area resident since he was 17 years old. Ed was a graduate of Pemberton High School and had been employed as a transportation supervisor with Trans Force, Inc. in Bellmawr, NJ. He was a loving and caring husband, father and friend. Ed liked to play his guitar, play poker, work on his computer and was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles. Ed was predeceased by his father, Alfred Lambes, Sr. and a brother, Jeff Lambes. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Joanne (nee Wickwire) Lambes; his five children, sons, Edward Lambes, Jr., Kevin Lambes, Anthony Lambes and Mason Lambes and daughter, Amber Lambes all of Burlington; his mother and step-father, Betty and Paul Jackson of Ohio; his mother-in-law, Kathleen Wickwire of Burlington; three brothers, Alfred Lambes, Jr., Ricky Lambes & wife Pat and Timothy Lambes & wife Sheryl all of Ohio; two sisters, Marcy Grecni & husband Steve and Glenna Gordon both of Ohio; several nieces and nephews and his best friend Rich ?Tiny? Gregory of Mt. Laurel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 15 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with calling hours from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 AM at the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery in Jacobstown.
