Alfred B. Farrell, Sr., age 66, of Browns Mills died Wednesday, December 2 at his residence. Born in Newark, NJ, he was a resident of Browns Mills for 33 years and formerly of Lincroft. Al was a veteran of the US Army serving as a M.P. in Korea and had worked as a Civil Pay Customer Service Representative at Fort Dix for 29 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Hamilton. Al was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Elizabeth (Alexander) Farrell and his brothers, Charlie & Joseph Farrell. He is survived by a son, Alfred Farrell, Jr. of Lincroft; two daughters, Dana Manganelli of Jersey City and Dyan Brown of Lincroft; seven grandchildren and his former wife, Jacqueline Farrell of Lincroft. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 15 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt, with Father Joseph Farrell, officiating. Burial will follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours for Al will be on Monday, December 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
