Kenneth K. Borden, age 90, of Cream Ridge died Wednesday, April 11 at Virtua Health & Rehab in Mount Holly. Born in Springfield Township, he was a resident of Jacobstown before moving to Cream Ridge 12 years ago. Ken served during World War II in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. He was retired from Belasco Petroleum in Cookstown in the maintenance/repair department. He was a member of the Jacobstown Baptist Church and North Hanover and New Hanover Senior Citizens. Ken was predeceased by a son, Timothy Borden and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (nee Gravatt) Borden; a son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Linda Borden of Arneytown; a sister, Elsie Beck of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandsons, Joel Borden of Florence and David Borden and wife Kristy of Houston, TX; three great grandchildren, Ronald, Deegan and Austin Borden and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Canitz of Alaska. Funeral services for Ken will be held on Tuesday, April 17 at 11:00 AM at the Jacobstown Baptist Church, 49 Jacobstown-Arneytown Road in Jacobstown with Pastor Ed Hlad officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
