Lawrence N. Peterson, age 54, of Mercerville died Friday, April 13 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in Louisville, KY, he was raised in Chesterfield Twp. and was a longtime resident of Mercerville. Larry had worked at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. He was an avid reader especially science fiction and he loved football and the New England Patriots. Larry was predeceased by his father, Neale L. Peterson. He is survived by his mother, Margaret J. (nee Harper) Peterson of Wolfeboro, NH; a brother Douglas Peterson and wife Mitzi of Jacobstown; two sisters, Janet McMillan and husband Robert of Fairmont, WV and Susan Peterson of Castle Rock, CO and nieces and nephew, Chelsie, Kayla, Heather and Robert. A memorial service for Larry will be held on Thursday, April 19 at 7:30 PM at the Jacobstown Baptist Church, 49 Jacobstown-Arneytown Road in Jacobstown (www.jbcchurch.com).
