Obituary of Marian E. Brown

Marian E. Brown, age 69, of Jacobstown died Monday, July 16 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold with her loving family and friends by her side. Born in Englishtown, she was a resident of New Egypt before moving to Jacobstown in 1992. Marian worked at the Plumsted Pharmacy in New Egypt for many years and also worked in the cafeteria at the New Egypt Elementary School. She was a member of the New Egypt United Methodist Church and loved to crochet and bowled in many local bowling leagues. Marian was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ruth Pullen; her husband, Robert William “Bill” Brown and by a brother, Joseph Pullen. She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Ann Lenart and husband Paul of New Egypt, Jo Ann Laird of New Egypt and Suzanne Murray and husband Donny of Harrington, DE; a brother, Robert Pullen of Mt. Holly; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Arlene and Joe Guse and Jo Ann and Lenny Butler all of New Egypt; a sister-in-law, Lois Pullen of Florence; six grandchildren and spouses, JR and Valerie Murray, Darrell Murray, Bobby and Tish Murray, Kelli Lenart, Paul Lenart and Shannon and Brian Bea; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Marian will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 1:00 PM at Atkinson Hall at the New Egypt United Methodist Church, Fort Avenue in New Egypt with calling hours from 10:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at Atkinson Hall. Burial will be in Emley’s Hill Cemetery in Cream Ridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marian’s name can be made to either The Give Back Foundation, P. O.
