William A. Cash, age 76, of Kannapolis, NC died Tuesday, October 23 at home. Born in Trenton, Bill was raised and lived in New Egypt, then lived in Toms River, Cape Coral, FL for 12 years and Kannapolis for the past 6 years. Bill was a mail carrier for the Post Office for 34 years, serving New Egypt for 9 years and Lakewood, NJ until his retirement. He also served in the US Navy and the Naval Reserves for a total of 20 years. Bill was a member of the Plumsted Presbyterian Church, the New Egypt Elks Lodge #2457, the AmVets and the Fleet Reserve Association. He also enjoyed gardening and playing baseball with his grandchildren. Son of the late Albert F. and Eleanor (nee Dunfee) Cash, Bill is survived by his companion of 29 years, Linda Molosky; three daughters, Sharon Cash of Langhorne, PA, Brenda LoCicero of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Becky Kingman-Gros and husband Roger of Boulder City, NV; his step-children, Edward Molosky, Jr. and wife Sherri, Sheila Molosky and husband Eugene Dalley and Bridget Molosky all of Kannapolis; 12 grandchildren and many cousins. Funeral services for Bill will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 10:00 AM at the Plumsted Presbyterian Church, 14 Front Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Burial will be in the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery in Jacobstown. Calling hours for Bill will be on Friday, October 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to the Plumsted Presbyterian Church, the New Egypt Vol. Fire Co. or to the New Egypt First Aid Squad.
