Ella V. Bakley of Cream Ridge passed away Monday, January 28, 2013. She was 88. She was a lifelong resident of New Egypt. She was a bartender. She was last employed at Hunters Retreat in New Egypt. She was predeceased by her three sisters , Marie Golen, Helen Van Arsdale and Peggy Melton; one brother, Albert Hopkins; one grandchild, Joseph Cross She is survived by 2 daughters and one son-in-law, Geraldine Cross of Orlando, Fla.; Glenda and Mike Reed of Cream Ridge; 2 grandchildren and their spouses, Duane Cross (Lynda) of Orlando, Fla.; Bridget Spence (Jamison) of New Egypt; 3 great-grandchildren, Samantha Spence of New Egypt; Daniel and Ashli Cross of Orlando, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, N.J. 08533. Burial will be private. The Visitation will be held Monday from 1p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. (www.tilghmanfh.com).
