Ruth L. (nee LeMunyon) Emmons, age 77, of Browns Mills died Friday, February 1, 2013 at Samaritian Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in Mt. Holly, she was a lifetime area resident. Ruth was a member of the Browns Mills Vol. Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, she was a Girl Scout leader for several years and she enjoyed doing Arts and Crafts. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, George and Nellie (Anderson) LeMunyon; two sons, Melton and Billy Emmons and a sister, Elizabeth. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Emmons; three children, Richard Emmons Jr., Betty Moore and husband Bobby and Wanda Sprague and husband James all of Browns Mills; two brothers, George D. LeMunyon Jr. of Southampton and Ralph LeMunyon of Browns Mills; a sister, Marion Cier of Browns Mills; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Tuesday, February 5 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).
