ANTHONY “Tony” LAWRENCE DORSEY, JACOBSTOWN, NJ Anthony “Tony” Dorsey of Jacobstown - North Hanover Township, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 12th with his loving family by his side. Tony attended Notre Dame High School in Ewing. He was a Vietnam era Navy Veteran where he served as a J79 Phantom 4 jet mechanic and Honor Guard for President Lyndon Johnson’s Inauguration. He worked for AT&T and New Jersey Bell Telephone before starting his own business with Primerica Financial Services. Tony loved helping people. He served as Board Member and President of the North Hanover Township Board of Education; Board Member of Northern Burlington County Regional Board of Education. He also served as Planning Board Member and Emergency Management Coordinator for North Hanover Township. He was one of the founders of the New Egypt Men’s Slow Pitch League and also served as President. He was a founding member and President of the New Jersey Gamefowl Breeders Association and a member of the United Gamefowl Breeders Association. Tony was predeceased by his father Anthony Dorsey, Sr, his mother Anna Marie (Mazzitelli) Dorsey. He is survived by his loving wife Linda (LeJambre); his daughter Amy Lynn Dorsey and partner Adam Patterson of Pemberton Boro; his son Anthony and wife Tara (Cumberland) Dorsey of Jacobstown; brother Joseph Dorsey and Sister Caroline Dorsey both of Bristol, PA. His wonderful Mother-in-law Mabel LeJambre and special longtime friend and “Aunt” Marlene Clegg of Cream Ridge, NJ. Private funeral services were held at Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) and burial took place in the Jacobstown Cemetery.
