Edward William Potts, infant son of Edward and Laurie Potts, passed away peacefully in his parent’s arms surrounded by family on Saturday, February 23 at RWJ University Hospital in New Brunswick. Eddie was born in New Brunswick on December 19, 2012. Though he was with us just a short time, he left a lasting impression on family and friends including the hospital staff. Eddie is survived by his parents, Edward W. and Laurie A. (nee Sullivan) Potts of New Egypt; two sisters, Samantha and Elizabeth Potts at home; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Linda Sue Potts of Big Fork, Montana; his maternal grandparents, John and Nancy Mohl of Allentown; his great grandmothers, Anita Stevens of New Egypt and Marie Jemiola of Mt. Holly; four aunts, Anette Potts, Christine Potts and Suzanne Girard all of New Egypt and Maureen Abers of Pittman and many cousins and other family members. Funeral services for Eddie will be held on Wednesday, February 27 at 11:00 AM at the Plumsted Presbyterian Church, 14 Front Street in New Egypt with Rev. Bruce Stevens officiating. Calling hours will on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eddie’s memory may be made to the March of Dimes (www.marchofdimes.com) for premature research.
