Dawn M. Elbertson, age 47, of New Egypt passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, March 6. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of New Egypt for the past 25 years. Dawn was employed as a file clerk for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Trenton and enjoyed going to the shore. Dawn was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Elbertson. She is survived by two sons, Marc Anthony Elbertson and Anthony Ryan Elbertson; her mother, Kathleen (Magee) Elbertson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Michelle Elbertson and James and Chalique Elbertson; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Dave Tucker and Kathie Lynn Elbertson and fiancé Mike Drury all of New Egypt; nieces and nephews, Matthew, David and Joseph Tucker, Kimberly and Kenny Elbertson, Michael Drury and Walter Crary; a great nephew, Khaten Elbertson; a very special and loving aunt, Audrey Magee of Trenton and a special friend whom Dawn thought of as more of a sister, Nichole Dukes of Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial for Dawn will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption Chapel, 76 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with Father Joseph Farrell officiating. Family and friends may call on Monday evening, March 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dawn’s memory may be made to the family to benefit her children.
