Dorothy L. Hendrickson, age 90, of New Egypt died Sunday, April 21 at Bartley Health Care in Jackson. Born in Bordentown, she was a longtime resident of New Egypt. Dorothy had worked as the head housekeeper at King James Nursing Home in Hamilton. She previously attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Bordentown and was a Sunday School Teacher there for 13 years and was also the church historian. Most recently she attended the Cookstown Methodist Church and the Hornerstown Baptist Church. Dorothy was also the historian for Senior Spot Senior Citizens Group in New Egypt. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Delmar G. Hendrickson and a son, Larry Hendrickson. She is survived by a son, Roy Hendrickson of New Egypt; two daughters, Gwendolyn Lutzick of New Egypt and Louise McDonough and husband Glen of Banning, CA; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, April 25 at 4:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be on Friday, April 26 at 10:30 AM at Beverly National Cemetery on Bridgeboro Road in Beverly, NJ. Please meet at the funeral home at 9:30 AM to drive to the cemetery in procession.
