Margaret F. ?Peg? Zaiss, age 73, of Browns Mills died Saturday, February 10 at her residence with her family at her side. Born in Trenton, Peg had been a resident of Browns Mills for the past 56 years. She was a co-founder of the Browns Mills Library, a past president of the Browns Mills Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Browns Mills Improvement Association and the Pemberton Township Historic Trust. Peg was also an Avon Sales Representative for 35 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Eugene Edward Zaiss. Peg is survived by three sons, Eugene Edward Zaiss, Jr. and wife Rose of Bordentown, Robert Carl Zaiss of Browns Mills and Richard Allen Zaiss and wife Jane of Edgewater Park; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Zaiss of Browns Mills; a granddaughter, Laura Zaiss of Edgewater Park; five brothers, George Ervin of Virginia, Charles Ervin & Harry Ervin both of Trenton and Fred Ervin & John Ervin both of Glendora; three sisters, Marion Davis & Gail Romejko both of Trenton and Eleanor Latshaw of Toms River and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. Jay Rambo, officiating. Calling hours will be on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date at the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peg?s memory may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, Prince & Church Streets, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
