Marybelle Harris, age 89, formerly of Wrightstown died Monday, July 1 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Pemberton, she was a resident of Wrightstown before moving to the Masonic Home in Burlington four years ago. Marybelle worked 50 years for the New Hanover Twp. Board of Education at the Wrightstown School, first as Custodian of School Monies and later as Secretary of the Board. She was a member of the Wrightstown United Methodist Church and served as Treasurer for a number of years. Marybelle was predeceased by her husband, Warren O. Harris, Sr. in 2010. She is survived by four children, Allen and Linda (nee Githens) Miller of Sabinsville, PA, JoAnn and Keith Smith of Bal Harbour, FL, Warren O. Harris, Jr. of Lilburn, GA and Richard D. and Missie (nee Griffith) Harris of Loganville, GA; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Marybelle will be held on Saturday, July 6 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt with burial to follow in the Upper Springfield Cemetery in Springfield Twp. Calling hours will be on Friday evening, July 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
